people living with cancer!

Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers

(private event among family)

"I recently participated in my first group sound healing session led by Sarah. Not fully knowing what to expect, I left the experience feeling a high level of calmness and embracing self-awareness and positivity. Sarah's warmth and generosity of kindness throughout the session provided the trust and vulnerability I needed to get the spiritual benefits of the experience. I recommend everyone embrace the power of sound healing."

About

Sarah Spearin

Certified Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing Practitioner

I am a space holder. I create an environment where others can journey inward for healing, transformation, and resilience in the face of life’s challenges. With over 13 years of experience as a licensed occupational therapist, I bridge holistic healing with clinical expertise, offering a beautiful integrative approach to wellness. Based in Tempe, I facilitate private and partner healing sessions, but I also extend my services beyond the studio. I offer my work to companies through wellness experiences, energetic space clearing for businesses and residences, private events for families and friends, and I facilitate a weekly Thursday evening class at Shanti Sound in Scottsdale.

I am also a Cancer Overcomer. This experience fuels my passion for supporting the cancer community and those facing mental health challenges. I lead a monthly class at Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers and a weekly class at Redefine Wellness and Treatment, bringing hope and healing to many.

Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based type of meditation meaning it's typically practiced while laying down or in a position where you feel the most comfortable, therefore least likely to move. You are guided through the following techniques:

  • breathwork

  • guided imagery (aka your imagination)

  • physical relaxation techniques that require very little movement

40-minute session

  • Comparable to 3 hours of deep sleep!

  • The brain waves drop into Alpha-Theta allowing the body to experience deep healing and rest.

Sound Healing is an ancient energy medicine modality that has been used by our ancestors and cultures all around the world. Through the use of different sounds, vibrations and frequencies, we can help to manage and heal disorders of the body and mind. It's about restoring resonance - take what is stuck or blocked and help one's electromagnetic field become integrated and balanced. A variety of sounds may be used in a session such as crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, gongs, drums, chimes and chanting.

Sound - Stress - Water

  • Stress is big factor in causing one to get unbalanced or out of tune.

  • As our bodies are more than 60% water and water is one of the best conductors for sound to travel, a sound healing session has the ability to cause what is out of tune to become in tune, balanced and harmonious.
